Den'yu特別純米 中汲み生原酒
kiko
I had my eye on this sake when I drank it at Ponshukan, Tatomo in Ojiya City, Niigata Prefecture.
With its summery label and Koshitanrei sake rice, I was expecting a light, dry sake typical of Niigata, but when I took a sip, I was surprised to find a rich, honey-like sweetness. The taste of the rice was well balanced with a nice crisp finish. It was not what I expected, but it is delicious and voluminous.
