<Dry, refreshing and clean summer sake.
Kurumizaka-san from Yoshimura Hideo Shoten in Wakayama. My favorite brand!
Speaking of Kurumazaka's summer sake, Kurumazaka Naminuri Kurumazaka was a thick zudong that was very tasty. It was a thick summer sake in the same genre as Tamagawa Ice Breaker, which is also delicious on the rocks. I didn't come across it last year, but I wonder if I can drink it this year.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this sake differs from its surfing...
The aroma is clean and delicious.
In the mouth, there is a gentle umami acidity, followed by more umami. Then, it quickly cuts through.
There is almost no sweetness, but it is round and easy to drink. There is almost no bitterness, and it is very clean. It is not my favorite direction, but it is a refreshing summer sake that I can honestly say is delicious.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, it would be Baron from "The Cat Returns". His real name is Baron Humberto von Zikkingen. He doesn't smile much, and he is a bit of a jerk. But it doesn't matter because he is actually cool. And he's kind, too.
Satisfaction: ★★★★
