My mother-in-law gave me this as a New Year's sake✨.
I've only had cup sake from Ozeki for some reason, and this was my first four-pack.
As the name suggests, this sake was shipped in November using new rice harvested last September.
We had it with dinner!
I thought it would be better to warm it up somehow, so I warmed it up 🍶.
It didn't have the fullness that I look for in heated sake, so I thought it might be better to drink it at room temperature, and I was right!
It has the freshness of new rice ✨.
It's not hot or sweet, it's neutral, which leads to the freshness.
