I've tasted Yamada Nishiki, but this is the first time I've bought it. It is slightly effervescent, with a pineapple-like sweet flavor and a trace of minerality and dryness. The aftertaste is dry. I like Omachi which I drank before, but Yamada is also delicious. That was my impression on the first day. I think it would be better to drink it as soon as possible after opening. I thought the sweetness was stronger when there was gas. The other one I haven't tried is Miyamanishiki. I have not seen it in stores.

I wrote that it's better to drink it early, but it's basically sweet all the way through, so I guess it's possible to drink it after a while.
