Niigata Sake
Abe Summer Sake
I have wanted to drink "Abe" for a long time.
My daughter found it on a trip and bought it for me as a souvenir.
The image of Niigata sake is light and dry, such as Kubota, but recently there have been an increasing number of modern, mellow, umami sakes such as Takachiyo and Kafuda-shu. I expected "Abe" to be like that, but it was more of a sour and slightly dry sake. I think it is similar to "Garakudai" also from Niigata.
I don't know if this is only for summer sake, but I prefer "寫楽" if it is in the same 2,500 yen range.
