しゃくやく
The brewery is located in Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture, where there is plenty of great water to drink. Ruka was named after her own child, who was to be named after the brewer.
This Ryuki was recommended to me at a nearby liquor store and I tried it for the first time, but I like it. When I looked closely at it, I found it was the original Oragarashi version of the liquor store.
It has a fresh, sweet aroma like pears and muscat, and a soft, gentle flavor that is well-drawn. The natural sweetness that comes out gradually, in addition to the faint firing that is characteristic of origami, leads to a crisp and refreshing finish. The acidity that pulls the whole thing together is gorgeous and keeps you wanting to drink more. It's also very good value for money.
