What is Hyougo Sake 85?
A new variety that is the successor to "Kitanishiki" sake rice from Hyogo Prefecture.
Due to global warming, hot summers often cause high temperature disorders, which have a negative impact on sake rice.
To recover from this, a new breed of sake rice, "Hyougo Sake No. 85," was developed as a summer-tolerant Kita-Nishiki rice.
Its official name is "Hyougo Sake 85.
Generally, rice names include "Koshihikari", "Koshihikari", "Homare", and "Koshihikari".
