Sake Brewery Tour on Foot
Today I participated in a sake brewery tour organized by Kintetsu Corporation 😀.
I participated in a 10 km walking event from Kintetsu Nara Saidaiji station, past the Heijo Palace ruins, from Daianji temple to Nara Toyosawa Sake Brewery. 🚶♀️
Toyosawa-san, which brews a sake called Toyoshuku, is also located in Fushimi, Kyoto 😀 I visited Toyosawa-san in Kyoto before.
When I visited Toyosawa in Kyoto before, the store owner told me that Toyosawa originally had breweries in Fushimi, Nada, Nara, and Sennan, Osaka, but they became independent and now only Fushimi and Nara are left 😀.
Our reward for walking 10 kilometers was a forced tasting of 5 different types of sake, including a brewery exclusive sake.
We were allowed to have as many refills as we wanted, so we compared them and I and Orin both thought the second best was this new sake, Arabashiri Shiboritate 😀 It tasted fruity and vibrant.
It has a fruity and vibrant taste, and it's so easy to drink that it's dangerous to drink too much 🤣.
The sake that both Orin and I recommended the most was Nigori (nigori) 🤣.
I know you might say that even after all the Nigorinpic, it was still nigori ❓, but I really liked the taste of nigori, so I made sure to take this one home 😇.

Yasubeyesan, here too😊.
Nice plan 🍶 and Toyosawa-san, there used to be a lot of them 😳I see why it has the same name as Kyoto and it clears things up 😊.

Hi Jay & Nobby 😀
Private trains in Kansai are having a lot of fun with various sake events 😀.
Today is the sake brewery opening at Hakusetsu-san in Itami 😇.
I looked on the map and it's exactly 10 km from my house, so I'm going to walk there now 🚶.
