Last weekend was an unsettled weekend due to the sudden change in the weather, but to put that mood to rest, here's a toast to summer sake from the Machida Sake Brewery!
Machida Shuzo 55 Junmai Ginjo Summer Jun Usu Nigori Omachi
A summer sake with a light, refreshing taste and light nigori.
There was a warning when opening the bottle, but the bottle opened easily without any sign of spewing!
The bottle had already been mixed with some ooze due to storage, so we enjoyed it straight away!
The top notes are modest, and when you take a sip, you can enjoy the adult Calpis soda type, slightly bitter grapefruit type acidity and bitterness, and it is a bottle that can be drunk quickly.
Rice polishing ratio: 55% (100% Omachi produced in Okayama Prefecture)
Alcohol content: 16%.
