Tengumai古古酒 純米大吟醸
enoshima
This sake was brought to me the other day when I went out for drinks with friends.
We had a bottle of Tengu Mai Old Sake Junmai Daiginjo.
The color of the sake is much yellowish. It is indeed an old sake 😊.
The aroma is mild.
When served cold in the mouth, it is sweet for a moment and then turns dry and zingy.
Oh, I think I like it a lot 😊.
The dryness comes from the mellow, matured mouthfeel. Old sake is good too!
The entrée was local raw shirasu (baby sardines) 🐟, which went well with the sake and was really delicious 😊.
Perhaps due to the mild winter we've had this year, we've had a good catch since the end of the March fishing ban, and it's been on heavy rotation as a sake entrée✌.
