A classic junmai sake with the sweetness and umami of rice and koji that can be enjoyed straight out of the bottle. We drank it at room temperature, but it is likely to have a more expansive flavor when heated.
Although it was made in 2017, there was no twanginess at all, and the impression was that it had become more beautifully rounded. I am grateful that I was able to find it through the Corona disaster from the torrential rain in western Japan in 2018.
