やまぐち
A style that snatches up the very edge of inventory.
I bought it immediately when I stumbled across it at a time when I was wishing I could drink it and it was getting away from my memory.
The palate is clean and transparent, but with a rich and lustrous sweetness. The gassiness is restrained.
Compared to the mellow Akaban Omachi I had drunk before, it was a bit clearer, and the sweetness was more subdued than the standard Nabeshima Purple (a raw Junmai Ginjo made from Yamadanishiki).
This sake has a fresh sweetness, but overall it is an honor student that is balanced at a high level without any quirks.
