Taka
Today we visited Higashikawa Sake Brewery, located right next to Aburicho Sake Brewery, the brewery where "Kaze no Mori" originated in Gosho City, Nara Prefecture.
Of course, we were looking for the Kaze no Mori series.
The first bottle was Akitsuho 657, but we chose the Higashikawa Sake Brewery's limited series, which is made with a technique called ikakitori, or colander, which means it is not exposed to air ✨.
The flavor is very much like Kaze no Mori. It has a mild, juicy sweetness, with flavors of pear and melon that quickly fade away.
I think it has a slightly richer aroma than the regular Akitsuho 657.
The price is very reasonable and very nice.
The 507 was also great and I will post it separately.
