I went to the parent-child test for the National Flag Test.
I'm glad that my son enjoyed it.
Surprisingly, he didn't make a fuss and he seemed to understand it well. He is growing up.
However, the venue, Hokkaido University, was cold and the classroom was hard to find, it was like a labyrinth.
I hope it will be a different venue next time.
This time, we used a fantastic rice called "Shinryoku" from Miyagi prefecture. It seems to be the root of Koshihikari.
And it's flat milled rice.
It has almost no aroma. Just a little bit, like neat fruity.
The taste is refreshing! Dry and crisp. It has a light sweetness that spreads lightly and disappears with a hint of alcohol.
It's a little different from the Kon-kunichi I know, but it's round and easy to drink, probably because it was brewed once.
Limited edition sake makes me happy when I can get my hands on it.
I tend to only drink limited edition sake, so I may not be able to drink the base sake as much as I would like. Is that a bad way to go?
But I do drink a lot of Kon-Kun-Ichi, so I'm glad to be able to drink something with so many different flavors.
Sapporo has finally lifted its restrictions.
I want to go drink, but I'm still a little worried. But if I do go, I'd like to go to a place that has Kenkunichi.
That kind of sake.
Cheers.
