Hello! 😄
Obon is over and many of you will be on vacation today and tomorrow.
Last year, the coastal area of Iwate Prefecture had heavy rain at the time of Obon, and we had to visit graves in the rain all the time. 😱.
This time, typhoon No.5 hit Tohoku area, which is rare, but fortunately we didn't have much damage and the temperature didn't go up much, so it was a comfortable time for us. 😅
My sons came home just in time for typhoon No. 5 to hit before the Obon festival, so my grandchildren were not able to play outside, which was unfortunate, but I think they had a good time.
So, I was going to upload what I drank then, but I still had some left over that I brought to a business partner's gathering, so I'll start with that first. 😁
Again, it was the choice of Mr. Murai, the president of "Gin no Sake Kibune".
I asked him to include dry sake as well, since my choices tend to be sweet and gorgeous. 😅
The first bottle was Sogen.
I knew the name from Sake-no-wa, but this was probably the second time he chose it for me.
When I took a sip, I could taste the robust flavor of rice, but it was perfect when paired with a strong flavored dish.
It was delicious.
