Takeju Sake Brewery in Saku, which makes Gyoenchiku, will open its brewery on April 22-23.
The brewery is located in a magnificent house along the old Nakasendo Road. The historical building with a garden on the porch and displays of old sake brewing tools create a relaxed atmosphere. 500 yen allows unlimited sake tasting. There is also a 2000-year-old aged sake and a 1999-year-old kijozo-shu (noble sake). The sake is dignified.
