We compared the Yamada-Nishiki from Sanchi and its wooden vat. In appearance, the one in the bag is the wooden vat. Other than that, the bottles are exactly the same. The taste was a little more woody than the Kiokke, but I couldn't tell much difference. The non-wooden vat had a stronger schwashiness, while the wooden vat was milder. Unfortunately, my tongue could not tell the difference. There is no difference in taste between the two. Wooden vat 2481 yen & 1970 yen
