The first sip has a fruity, fresh, green-apple-like aroma. It has a full-bodied sweetness, but the aftertaste is clean and balanced with a good balance of acidity, without the sweetness that is often associated with draft sake.
It is a slightly dry sake that retains the characteristic nuances of Niigata sake🍶 with a firm rice flavor, and is very good as a mid-meal sake. 🙆🏻
Incidentally, I actually visited this brewery and bought this after touring the brewery. It seems that a new filtration system was introduced last year, which seems to have contributed to the refreshing taste.
