First of all, that koi on the label is adorable!
I got a bottle of unfiltered raw Apple Carp from Sei Masamune like that: ☺️
It's made from glutinous rice in a 4-stage brewing process.
I heard that the process produces a lot of sweet sake 🤔?
I can't wait to see how it turns out!
It's a little yellowish when you open it up and pour it: ☺️!
There might even be a caramel-ish ripeness to the aroma! ✨
I drank it after eating some dried mackerel.
Sweet!!!
Caramel-like ripeness as per the aroma from 🥹!
Wow, the sweetness soaks into my thick and tired body ✨.
It's a mild sweetness that will go well with sweet bean paste or Japanese sweets 😌!
And on the second day, I drank it cold.
Sweet and sour!
What? It was such a sweet and sour, apple-like sake! LOL!
It tasted totally different from how it tasted when paired with mackerel🤣.
It's sweet and sour and has a nice sharp taste, and it might taste more modern if it's chilled to a crisp 🥰.
Both are delicious but at the end of the day I like it a little hotter 😘.
