I was able to sample this at CSW the other day and it was delicious. I was surprised to see that Gakky has finally entered the craft saké market (❗️) and this has stimulated my desire to buy a bottle 😆.
Now, let's take a look at it again. When I poured it into a glass, it was a very clear sake without any gassiness or nigoriness. The aroma is characterized by hops, citrus citrus, grapefruit, and floral notes that are very nice 👍 The taste has a citrus bitterness at first sip and a muscat sweetness in harmony with the acidity, but it is more like the usual Gakki sake quality with a hint of hops on top. However, the bitterness of the hops comes to the fore in the aftertaste, and you can enjoy the hoppiness of this sake. In general, the low alcohol content makes it easy to drink and delicious 😋😋😋😋.
I hope that more and more breweries with sake brewing licenses will enter the market and make this genre even more interesting. ☺️
