Shinkame barrel sake in a bottle 🍶.
I went to away Omiya to watch GW soccer game.
On the way home from the day game, I googled for a place to buy sake around Omiya station, and found a store called Shimizuya (Shinkame no Yakata). After watching the game, I rented a bicycle 🚲.
One corner of the flower shop is a liquor store. It is an unusual store that sells mostly Kamigame sake, and I was surprised to see how many different types of Kamigame there are.
The top aroma is weak, and the Junmai sake has a unique aroma of cedar barrels mixed in. The hint of cedar barrels in the nose.
When drunk cold, you can taste the acidity. The sweetness is on the dry side.
But the best way to taste it is to warm it up! The umami opens up with a bang, and the cedar barrel aroma and the sake's nose are very pleasant.
A perfect food sake that you can drink in small doses and never get tired of it.
