Abe has been trying various new things lately. They have been trying many new things lately. I also bought a bottle of YASO, which I drank this time, because it is a sake made with gin! Apparently, when making kijoshu, the brewing water is not sake, but craft gin made by a company called Echigo Yakuso. I had heard that it does not fizz very much, but it fizzes a lot! I opened the bottle with a corkscrew that opens the crown of the bottle, but it took more than 5 minutes to open the bottle while slowly letting the gas out. It is light! It's just so light! But it's very drinkable for a 12% alcohol. It is a delicious sweet and sour sake! The price is high, but it's worth it! I thought it would have more of a herb-like gin flavor, but it is very easy to drink... The bitterness at the end is a bit like that, but in general it has a light flavor that is easy to drink anyway. It seems that if you drink it after rolling it around in your mouth slowly, you can enjoy a variety of tasty flavors. If that were the case, it might be okay to raise the alcohol content another 1-2% or so. But it's so delicious! I like it!
