Yuka-chan wanted to go to Arashiyama, so we took a quick walk and took some pictures 😆 and headed for Fujioka Sake Brewery in Fushimi! On Saturdays and Sundays, paid tastings are not available to compare drinks.
So I thought, "Well, why don't I do my own tasting?"
So I tried the Omachi special junmai, unfiltered raw sake and the orikarami.
You can taste the strength of the Omachi, but you will be refreshed after drinking the unfiltered pure sake, and the Orugarami, which is slightly sweet, but too sweet and also refreshed after drinking, both have their own merits and I like them both 😊.
And then I wanted to drink some more (as many of you know, Aozora is expensive, but I'm off my rocker), so I went for the Junmai Ginjo Orihara, Yamadaho. I always thought it was "Yamadaho," but it turned out to be "Yamadabo. It is also very dry, but when brewed by Aozora, it has a very elegant taste.
