もよもよ
I was attracted to this sake by the claim that it is a modern Yamahai brewed by Yasu Yoshida. I had a preconceived notion that Yamahai sake is best served hot, or that it has a strong sake flavor, but this sake has a very gentle flavor and is suitable for drinking cold.
First of all, the label is stylish with a bird flying. Ishikawamon is a brand name of sake rice produced in Ishikawa prefecture. The alcohol content is 13%, which is a little weak.
When you open it, the aroma is really good. A little flowery? It has a flowery ceiling aroma. When you drink it, you can easily drink it because of its gentle sweetness and refreshing mouthfeel. I think the weak melon scent and taste is a good fit.
There is no strong alcohol feeling at all, so even beginners of sake can drink it. The fact that it is called Yamahai surprises me anyway.
