It has a fruity and sharp bitterness, like crushed pineapple from the skin. The top clearings alone are just that, but when mixed with nigori, it becomes thicker. It is sweet, but the final taste is spicy. The way the nigori was mixed was also romantic, as if it was loosening and unraveling.
