I never had a chance to drink Koshino-Kanme because I see it so often. I found it at my parents' house as a gift, so I opened a bottle.
According to what my family told me, Koshino-Kanbai was the first of Niigata's light sake, and at the time it was a very popular and hard-to-find sake.
It is a junmai daiginjo, so it has a sweetness and a ginjo aroma on the palate. After that, it immediately has a sharpness accompanied by a sense of alcohol ← Is this light and dry?
Even if the sweetness and aroma are gorgeous, if it is light and dry, you can't deny the feeling that it is a traditional sake with strong alcohol!
