There is almost no top notes. When you drink it, juicy acidity rushes in. The bitterness is weak and easy to drink. This is delicious. It tastes like a white wine and is easy to drink. It is excellent both on its own and with food. There is not much of a hint of incense. It has a different aspect from the robust, classical image of other Nishinomoto wines. As the label on the back says, it is refreshing, light, and easy to drink. The acidity is addictive and very tasty. It went well with a bowl of negitoro (negitoro rice bowl), homemade tuna, yakitori from the supermarket, and miso soup with crab. It is very tasty with miso soup.
It is my favorite!
