Happy New Year!
The first new sake of the season is Atago no Matsu from Miyagi Prefecture.
It is a new sake, but it doesn't have much gasiness. The aroma is mild and not too harsh.
Not too sweet, not too spicy, just the ultimate food sake!
However, to put it in a bad way, it is a bit half-baked, isn't it? It is not the type of sake that makes a statement, which is why I think it is a food wine.
