Rice used: Hitogochiki and Yamadanishiki
Tsukiyoshino Honjozo blended with Daiginjo and Junmai Daiginjo
The first sip was a slightly sweet white wine in aroma and mouthfeel.
There is no cloying taste, and the sweetness remains with a clean aftertaste.
It has just the right amount of bitterness and astringency, making it an interesting sake with a unique balance.
When I asked the owner of a maniac liquor store for an interesting sake, he recommended this one.
It was a sake I could drink with a grin on my face.
