The brewery, located in the fishing town of Otsuchi on the Sanriku coast, was devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake and moved to Morioka City. The brewery's toji (master brewer) was also changed from generation to generation, and it was reborn as a completely different brewery, and is now the most vigorous brewery in Iwate Prefecture.
As someone who was involved in reconstruction work in Iwate immediately after the earthquake, I am encouraged by the success of this brewery, which has made a fresh start and continues to grow, and it is the embodiment of the indomitable spirit of Sanriku.
Having said that, it's been a long time since I've said it😅.
Now, let's take a look at the taste. The aroma is quite subdued. When you put it in your mouth, the fresh sweetness of gentle peach spreads softly❗️It has a sharp acidity and a clean aftertaste, so it is quite suitable as a mealtime sake. I will try to support the ministry more in the future 😊😊.
