I went to the brewery and asked if there was any sake that could only be purchased here and not sold wholesale at supermarkets. This is what they came up with. The Nakakumi itself is made every year, but the taste changes every year, so it is a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. I like that kind of thing.
It has a soft flavor, so to speak, with a fruity sweetness that hits the palate.
It is a high strength sake, as it is a pure sake. It seems to get drunk easily, but I think it's okay if it does.
