This is a project to have a stiff competition with our rival, Shochiku Ume Pleiades.
I wrote the details in Subaru, so here is just an excerpt from Gimpac for the record.
The top aroma is a ginjo aroma of pears and apples. The strength of the aroma is about the same as that of Subaru, but GINPAK has a gentler aroma.
In the mouth, there is a gentle sweetness and moderate acidity. It is gentle, yet very fruity. The aroma is more sweet than the actual taste. Therefore, it is not sticky with sweetness. The slight bitterness coming out from the back is also gentle. Yeah, this is still delicious. It is easy to recommend, especially to those who are not accustomed to drinking sake. It is also easy to obtain.
Gimpac is a double winner at this year's IWC (International Wine Challenge), winning both the trophy (first place) in the ordinary sake category and the Great Value Sake, which is selected from sake with a retail price of 1,200 yen or less.
(The highest award, the Champion Sake and Great Value Award, will be announced on July 4.)
