This week was long... Friday (tears) after overcoming numerous hardships. It's nice to reward yourself, isn't it?
That's why I opened the bottle of Ni-Rabbit that I had been carefully storing!
The expression "He who runs after two hares will not get two hares" is a perfect example of the contradiction of the two opposites. If one side stands up for the other, the other side has to be suppressed. In negative terms, this is called "compromise," but I thought that Ni-Rabbit embodied this conflict to the best of its ability. The sweetness and bitterness, two opposing tastes, are beautifully realized by making them felt at different times. It is an impressive sake.
