[Zao k Special Junmai inspiration ]
The name and jacket are really cool😌.
I've actually never had Zao before, and I've always been curious about it, but it's a raw sake that comes out twice a year✨.
100% #Kuranohana, the preferred rice of Miyagi prefecture, and the yeast is also all #Miyagi prefecture 😄.
It's 50% polished rice and yet it's a special junmai, a luxury☺️.
I'm sure you can tell from the photos that the freshly opened sake is just as fresh as it can be😌.
The aroma is mild, more like rice or vanilla than a ginjo aroma😊.
The mouthfeel is soft and the acidity is mild, but there is enough sharpness to make it a good food sake like the sake from Tohoku✨.
The softness is addictive🤔.
