We are coming to Yura Onsen in Yamagata Prefecture for an overnight stay starting today✨.
On the way, we stopped by a local sake shop, and the owner was so passionate about sake that you could tell he really likes sake, so he taught us a lot about it and we bought two different brands of Hakuro Tarusyu 😆 lol
The first is a Miyamanishiki junmai ginjo, which is the brewery's signature sake and is said to be their "eternal idol." This is a sake where you can really enjoy the rice and water!
It has a beautiful sweet rice aroma and is really soft on the palate.
The softness allows you to taste the beautiful sweetness and umami of the rice, but the overall impression is very transparent.
This transparency and lack of miscellaneous flavors that give a sense of the quality of the water is unique, and it is also a delicious sake that has a taste that is as good as its transparency ✨.
