I purchased this product after it was recommended to me by a liquor store in Nagano Prefecture. He said that Takaten is not often released outside of the prefecture and is becoming quite popular in Nagano Prefecture. It seems that most of them are dry, but I bought it because I was told that it was one of the most gorgeous, sweet and easy to drink.
When I drank it...
I felt fruity for a moment on the palate, but the bitterness and spiciness came soon after. The astringent taste also lingered on my tongue for a long time in the aftertaste.
It was a little too much for me.
It was a complex flavor, so I wonder if it would be a hit for those who like it?
