This is the first time I have had sake from the Ikezuki Sake Brewery, but I was attracted by the binku color of the sake because I had previously had another brand of sake with red yeast that was delicious🍶.
It seems to have been featured in an article in dancyu's introduction to sake.
There is almost no topical aroma.
The taste is sweet and slightly sour as expected, reminding me of strawberries 🍓, but the sweetness is not as strong as liqueur, and there is a slight sake-like umami flavor.
It is a cloudy sake, but thanks to the acidity, it is not so heavy, and the low alcohol content of 12 degrees makes it easy to drink.
I was satisfied with the red yeast sake as I expected 😆 It may be an evil way to drink sake because it does not have the original sake-like taste, but I thought it was good to enjoy sake by itself 👍.
