I went on a brewery tour of the Kikusui Sake Brewery.
The person in charge of explaining the brewery was a clerical staff member, but I was told that the person explaining the brewery rotates among employees. Kikusui Brewery allows new employees to experience all departments and to work based on their various experiences.
The tour of the brewery was also very interesting, as the staff explained the brewing process based on their own experiences. The Kikusui Institute of Japanese Sake Culture was also wonderful, and we saw many historical items. It is well worth a visit.
I bought a bottle of Kikusui Funaguchi Shiboritate Dry Nama Sake as a souvenir.
The aroma was to my liking, but the alcohol content was high at 21 degrees. I drink it with carbonated soda, but I am thinking of a better way to drink it.
