Being a freshly pressed sake, one would think that a similar raw sake would not have developed its flavor yet, but one would be mistaken.
It has all the characteristics that we love about drunken whales: sourness, spiciness, peculiarity, and a clean aftertaste, but with a tingling sensation that makes you think it is still fermenting on the tongue.
It is enjoyable enough without any snacks.
This time, we used smoked cartilage and tongue as snacks, which also went great with this sake.
