寿梨庵
I've been curious about this sake for a while, but it's hard to get my hands on it ✨I'm so glad I got it 🤗.
Junmai Daiginjo stored in a snow cellar. It's also available in 8 years, but this one is 3 years old.Snow Aged is cool ❄️
No fancy aroma, banana, melon, and a hint of grain 🌾.
It's a little sweeter than most Hakkaisan, with a very elegant, round sweetness. It has a very elegant and round sweetness that makes you want to roll it around in your mouth slowly 🌀
And a long, lingering aftertaste 🎶.
Overall, the impression is of deep nourishment and understated quality.
It reminded me of Kamigami Morohaku (Tsuru no Tomo) and especially Kame no O (the regular one) 🤔.
Like all Hakkaisan, I think this is also a food sake.
I think it goes well with indigenous foods, like wild vegetables, but it was perfect with a local Uonuma dish we had at home, kikkoshizuke (chipped kipper with daikon, carrots, cabbage, etc. pickled in malted rice) 😋.
