This year's Kame-no-o is also fresh and has a slight freshness. It was a little fresher than Omachi at first sip.
Compared to the Omachi, it has a simple yet profound rice flavor with a strong bitter aftertaste. It also rounded out as the day passed after opening, and even had a slight grape-like fruitiness, though not as much as the Oumachi.
It seems a little more modern than last year's hi-ire, but it is closer to the king of food sake than Omachi.
