Purchased the last bottle at the liquor store
This was the first time I had So-no-Kangiku, a new release from the Popular Sake Brewery.
In a word, it was juicy.
It was sweet like a mixed juice, with a slight carbonation to offset the sweetness, giving it a refreshing impression, but it had a spiciness that got hotter and hotter as it went down my throat.
The speed at which the bubbles rose suggests that it is a slightly viscous sake, but it was a devilishly delicious sake that I could gobble down as an after-dinner drink.
If you like sweet sake, this would be a good match for you.
