I went on a brewery tour as part of a company trip and was recommended to pay for a tasting by the cute lady who guided us around the brewery.
It had a thick, cheese-like aroma and a flavor and richness that was not typical of Junmai Daiginjo-shu, perhaps due to the use of Yamahai.
The guide that came with the bottle said it would go well with thick dishes such as stewed pork, and I agree.
It is delicious.
