さしゅーI drank Yoshidagura last time, so this time I will drink Tetorigawa (^o^) There was a sake I was planning to drink when Fukushima won the first place in the New Sake Competition, but it was the fifth place, so I will drink it later. Yamagata's sake was not in the fridge, so I wanted to drink it (lol). I was looking forward to drinking Tedorigawa because the last time I drank nigori, it made a big impact on me with its delicious taste😄The aroma is apple-like and peach-like. The aroma is apple-like and peachy, but not that fruity. When you drink it, the sweetness comes first, followed by a slight carbonation, which is typical of nama-zake. After that comes bitterness and umami, and the aftertaste is dry and crisp (lol). At first I thought it might be a ginjo. Yamadanishiki and Gohyakumangoku are used as the base rice. It has the best of both worlds. Although it is called dry, it also has sweetness and umami, and is well balanced. Of course it is delicious on its own, but it would also go well with strong dishes as an in-between-dinner drink. We enjoyed it very much.
