The color is so beautiful pink that you would think it was rosé. It has a strong lather. The explanation says that it is a pure rice sake made with red yeast, and that it is made effervescent by the authentic method of secondary fermentation in the bottle, just like the real Champagne. It has a sour fruitiness and dry bitterness, almost like grapefruit. The sweetness is very slight. It was a delicious sake that went great with meals 😊.
