I've been going to Masu Shin Shuten, but this doburoku has been on my mind for several years. When I stopped by the store the other day, there was a wooden sign that said "Juni-Roku is available" and, of course, the actual bottle was there. I hadn't drunk it recently, but I thought I would definitely like it, as I like drinking amazake at a temple teahouse, so I bought it for the first time. I heard that the sourness comes on gradually after opening the bottle, but even on the first day, it was sweet but not drippy because of the carbonation. It's 5% alcohol content, so I drank it every other day for 10 days at the beginning of the evening instead of beer, and I could enjoy the gradual sourness and change. It's similar to kimchi in the sense that I enjoy the acidity and fermentation😆. It has a less alcoholic, sweet and sour taste than other brands I've had before, and is of natural origin. I'm looking forward to the Sentry Snowman next.
