It is a sake whose name you have heard before, and it is made from Sasanishiki. The concept was to create a sake that would complement the food, like a silver rice wine.
After opening the bottle, the lid makes a nice sound as if it is quite carbonated. When I drank it, it was more fruity than I had imagined. I imagined it to be a heavier drink, but it is quite refreshing with moderate acidity. As for the taste, it is a melon soda that is not sweet.
It is excellent as a food wine. I think it would go well with white meat fish sashimi or cured ham.
