When poured into a glass, it is lightly muddy, and the mouthfeel is filled with a swooshing sensation, indicating the Toji's intentions. Both the aroma and the sensation down the throat are completely fruity, making it a perfect match for horse mackerel sashimi. The richness of the aftertaste is not typical of Niigata sake.
