SAMURAIZ
It's the season for new sake, and it's a fun time of year.
Yoshida Sake Brewery's specialty is 100% "Ishikawamon".
As the label says, it is a fresh new sake.
It has a clear sweetness with a sense of fermentation-derived gas and a refreshing capechi type of sweetness that bubbles up in the glass as well.
There is also a light bitterness at the end that is typical of Ishikawamon.
We have enjoyed it since Monday with cheap "crab cakes" and "Iburi Gakko cream cheese" as entrées.
I am sure I will drink it all by the end of the day.
