マグロ漁船
Purchased on a trip to Kagawa Prefecture.
Lately when I travel, I of course check out liquor stores, but I have been buying more and more of the sake that is available at local supermarkets.
It's fun to get a glimpse of the local standard sake.
This is one such example.
The aroma that rises from the bottle is like the smell of olives.
When you put it in your mouth, it has a flavor that you don't find in sake. It has a muscat flavor.
The acidity is a bit reminiscent of a white wine.
The mid-palate also has a dry white wine-like acidity.
It is not too thick, but not too light.
There are other sake with acidity and muscatelike aroma, but this one has a white wine-like balance.
I paired it with olive oil sardine, and it was a perfect match.
Perhaps it was my preconceived notion that olive yeast is used.
The power of yeast is great.
Delicious.
